Just plain crazy sometimes

Have you ever felt as though your going to loose your mind?! I remember just 5 years ago dragging myself out of bed around 10:30 AM, grabbing a cup of coffee and sitting in front of the television to watch my favorite morning programs. No worries about which medication will bring down a temperature the quickest or... do I need to go to the store and buy diapers today or will I make it until tomorrow?

Things change in so many different ways once you decide your going to have a child. Maybe your lucky and have a child that is content playing with a few blocks on the floor for hours on end, or maybe you have a child that is happy as a lark and nothing seems to upset them. Rest assure, they WILL grow up and you will find yourself saying "get off that! Stay out, Put that back!, That's not made for climbing on! What did you just draw on!!!" Ohhh, a 3 year old can be so creative, inquisitive and just down-right too smart for their own good!

I would have to say, since my son was born 18 months ago, I feel like a maid, nanny, chef, disciplinarian, friend, leader and the only damn person that knows how to put a dish in the sink!! Lol. I once heard a saying that has stuck with me now that I have children and I believe it to be absolutely true! "Raising children is like being pecked to death by a chicken"

My three year old was in watching a movie on the computer the other day and when I came to check on her she proudly pointed to the computer screen and said "look Mommy!" Upon closer inspection I noticed she had written ALL OVER the screen with pen. Yes, a pen. Horrified I just looked at her and.............smiled.

I try to remind myself that they will never be little forever. They will grow up. They will decide to make wrong choices in life, they will have a broken heart at one point or another, they will feel scared at times and it is my blessing to be the one to try and "make it all better" So what can you say, if they write all over the computer, just smile. One day your little girl wont be so little.

HAPPY FALL!
