This month on the 5th I turned the Big 30! It wasn't as bad as I had expected. I think next year when I turn 31 it will hit me that there is no turning back! My day was spent snowed in. We had other big storm come thru and there wasn't any way possible I could even make it out of the driveway without being stuck!
My wonderful Mom surprised me and came over with a pound cake and some gift. I got a new Sentsy candle holder from my sister that I LOVE! For those of you that haven't discovered Sentsy your missing out! It was a wonderful day (other than turning another year older) and I am so fortunate to have most of my family around during these special times.
We have all of our Birthdays in the Month of January and Feb. Chris's Birthday is Jan. 23rd, Lauren's is the 28th (she will be 5) and Chandlers Birthday is Feb. 3rd (he will be 3) So, I intend on having Birthday cake running out my ears by the end of the month. I will keep everyone updated on all the Birthday fun around here.
In other news, the weather here has been for the most part sunny but still very cold. We have a chance of snow on the way which is neither surprising nor welcome. It is only January so I am afraid we have many more months of this weather in store. To all of you that have weather over 60 degree's start cleaning out your spare room because I'm coming to stay!
